What the site is

Franklin Garage Repair is an information and referral site. It helps callers reach independent garage door contractors. It does not perform repairs or installations, and it is not a contractor.

Contractors are independent

Each contractor that takes a call runs its own business. It decides what work to offer, what to charge and when it is available. The site operator does not supervise the work and is not a party to any agreement between you and a contractor.

Because of that, the homeowner is responsible for checking a contractor's license, insurance and references, as the disclaimer at the foot of each page says.

Information on the site

Pages describe garage door problems in general terms. They are not instructions for repair, and they do not replace the manual for your door or opener or the advice of a qualified service person.

Legal and licensing facts were checked when the page was written. Rules change. Confirm them with the agency named before you rely on them.

Photographs on the site are illustrative. The people and places shown are not contractors listed on the site.

Limits

The site and its operator make no promise that a contractor will be available, will reach your address or will complete a job. To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for losses arising from a contractor's work, or from using or being unable to use this site.

Using the site

You may read and link to the site. Do not copy it wholesale, use it to harass anyone, or place calls to the number that are not genuine requests for garage door service.
