Visiting the site

The site has no forms, no accounts, no comment boxes and no advertising scripts. It does not set cookies.

The site's hosting provider handles each page request and, like any web host, may keep technical logs such as the address of the request and the time. The site operator may also count visits and taps on the phone number with a statistics tool that does not use cookies. It is not used to build profiles of individual visitors.

Calling the number

When you dial, a call-routing service connects you to an independent garage door contractor. The service receives your phone number, the time of the call and its length. It may record the call, and the contractor you reach may also keep its own record.

A recording can be used to confirm that a call took place and what it concerned. If you do not want a call recorded, do not continue it once you have been told it may be.

What you tell a contractor is governed by that contractor's own practices. This site does not control them.

What is not collected

• No names, addresses or payment details are collected through the site.
• No personal information is sold from this site.
• No data is collected from children, and the site is not aimed at them.

Email

If you write to contact@franklingaragerepair.com, the message and your address are used to reply, and are kept for as long as that takes. Do not send sensitive information by email.

Your choices and changes

You can ask by email what, if anything, the site operator holds about you, and ask for it to be deleted. Requests about call recordings may need to go to the routing service, which the operator can help identify.
